avicus

We were often times subject to Mael's senseless jealousy without cause, but companions we were through history and through our ancient blood.. Avicus was childlike in the sense that he was naïve and little educated of the world. His want for knowledge opened me up to teaching, something I had never delved in to before. Avicus reached out to life with such great lust that I was drawn to him as a man who had never felt any measurable passion for anything. No. I was always far too level headed for passion. Avicus was my sweet antithesis in our ever for life.

I’ve always wondered about the immortality he endured before Mael helped him escape and he had never spoken much to me about it. I can only imagine the suffering he felt locked away in his divine tree, a God and tormented for it.

He endured through what I promptly ran away from.

I believe Avicus always admired and looked up to me though I can’t imagine why. Everything about me, my manner to my talents, charmed him speechless, yet I was as entranced with him

I think about him now and then, but I've no will to search for Avicus. We do have an eternity after all, and I'm sure we will run into each other when the time is right for us both. Then perhaps we can be companions once again in this new era.
